Big news – Really Big News

From My Room is going to an online format!  We were planning on doing this in the fall when our current lease expires. But our landlord has unexpectedly found a new tenant for our space and we have closed our store. This means our plans for changing our format have greatly accelerated. Our online store is not yet ready so here will be a several month delay while we finish those preparations.

We apologize for the short notice but we did not foresee this happening. Sometime in the fall we expect to be back – but in a primarily online format which will also include shopping by appointment and events similar to school resale events.  We are working with several local merchants to provide convenient drop off locations and may be able to offer pickups of items.  We also intend to offer exciting features like online availability of inventory information so you can check the status of your items at any time.  Check our website for information as our plans firm up.

We hope you will be patient and help us work through our changing situation.  Without a full time storefront we will be able to offer you lower commission rates so that you can end up with more money in your pocket.
