CLOTHING
To provide our customers with the best
selection, we accept brand name Maternity
Wear & Infant through Children's size 10
clothing seasonally. We do not accept
clothing that is damaged (ripped, stained,
smells of smoke, missing or broken buttons,
missing size & brand labels, snaps or
zippers) or has visible signs of wear
(pilling, fading) Only current styles
(less than 3 years old). Final acceptance is at the
discretion of From My Room. Please do not be
offended if some items are not accepted. We
strive to use our experience to determine
what products are in demand. Unaccepted
items will be donated to charity if not
picked up within 2 business days.
Clothing must be freshly laundered, laid
flat, buttoned, zipped,
snapped, sets paired & placed in a laundry
basket or plastic bin. (Please, no oversized
tubs; we need to be able to lift them over
our heads!) Label bin or basket with your
full name, address, phone#, & date. If fewer
than 12 total items, they may be neatly
folded & put in a shopping bag labeled with
consignor's name. Fewer than 12 total
maternity items may be brought in on
hangers. Items with garage sale, or other
resale tag stickers will be rejected.
TOYS
We are very selective about the toys we
accept. They must be clean, disinfected with
bleach solution, gently used, have no
missing parts, and be in working condition
with batteries. $1/per battery fee may
otherwise be assessed. Desirable toys
include Little Tikes, Step2, Lego, wooden
toys, infant developmental toys, walking and
ride-on toys, current videos & DVDs in their
jackets. Promotional toys, cardboard or
plastic puzzles & most stuffed animals are
not accepted.
BOOKS, CDs, DVDs
We accept books for children (especially
educational ones) and those related to
pregnancy and child-raising. They
should be in like-new condition. CDs
and DVDs should be in their original boxes.
FURNITURE & EQUIPMENT
Nursery and kid's furniture, equipment &
bedding in good condition will be accepted
provided current safety standards are met.
An assembly fee of up to $10 may be assessed
if required. Consignors may opt to assemble
cribs themselves. Strollers, joggers, pack
'n plays, swings sell well. Car seats
can only be accepted if they are less than 5
years old. Sanitize hard surfaces (we suggest a
1:10 water/bleach solution). Up to $5/item
fee may be assessed to clean soiled items.
Be sure there are no missing parts or
hardware. If you have product directions,
please attach them.
