Here's how it works:

You bring your item to From My Room with the item detail form filled
out. If it is accepted for the program, it will be assigned an item id number.
You are then responsible for listing your item on craigslist,
NapervilleYardSales, eBay etc and mentioning that the item can be
viewed at From My Room. The commission clock doesn't start ticking
until you bring your item in to the store. If it is in the store 24
hours or less before someone purchases it, then we will deduct only a
7% commission from your payout (less 2% if you provide proof of advertisement). For each additional day the item takes to sell, an additional 2% commission will be charged.

At the end of 2 weeks, the consignment period ends. A $1.00 fee
will be charged to your account for each unsold item. If you want
unsold items back, you must pick them up within 7 days after the end
of the consignment period. Items still unsold 21 days after drop-off
will be considered abandoned and may be donated to a local charity
organization.

An information form must be filled out for each item. When accepted
by FMR, each item will be assigned an id number. This id number MUST
be referenced in all advertisements and potential purchasers need to
reference that id when coming to the store to view the item. From My
Room must also be referenced as the place to purchase the item. You can
list the FMR address in your ad or you can link to
http://frommyroom.com/aboutus.htm for address and directions.

From My Room cannot accept all items into this program and typically
very large items cannot be accepted. We always recommend calling first
to ensure that we have the time to review your items but appointment
is not necessary to drop in with 5 or fewer items for this selling
program. We reserve the right to refuse any item for any reason.
