organizations that accept donated items?
Wouldn't you like to have the option of the
charity of your choice receiving the benefit
from your donation?
From My Room believes that giving back to
the community is a vital component of all
businesses. As part of our commitment to
that, we offer a charity program with the
following guidelines:
1) You bring to our shop (or we can do
local pick ups at no charge in a limited
area) the items you
would like to have us sell and each month at
check writing time, the check will be made
out to the charity of your choice with a
receipt to you showing how much was donated.
Check with your financial advisor for tax
deductible options.
2) You identify the non-profit
organization that you would like to receive
the proceeds.
3) If you have items that we do not
normally deal with, we can put the items on
Ebay for you and donate the proceeds to the
charity of your choice.
4) From My Room will match
the funds generated for the charity 50 cents
to the dollar. This means that for every
$100.00 paid through this program, your
charity gets a bonus $50.00 from us!
5) All items being sold for charity will
be identified as such on the tag so shoppers
will know the proceeds are going to charity!
6) Within a limited area, we can attend
an event, collect donated items and bring
them to the store for processing. Call for
more information.
7) We can include information about your
charity on our website!
